When Captain Elizabeth Jolin approached us about her idea for a baby board book, we were excited to hop on the ride. Back Country Baby started with a name and an idea for a black-and-white board book for babies. Capt. Jolin is a fishing guide in the Florida Keys, so obviously, we were excited to bring her vision of fish stories from our hometown to life. Our creative collaboration with Capt. Jolin has included illustrating and layout design of the book, the ISBN for self-publication, and the branding concept of the “Wee Sea Series.” The first book was such a success, we are working on the second one!
